My Boy is growing up too fast !

I am just in Awe of my baby! Kael is so amazing! I can't believe some of the things he does and understands! He is so precious! I just felt like posting some things about him... He is growing up too fast and I don't want to forget everything. I get so emotional thinking about how fast he is growing. soon he won't be my baby, but my toddler, then my kid, then teenager then adult! It is so bitter sweet! I love love love seeing all the new things he learns. The look in his eyes when he does something he is proud of. He looks at me to see what I think. Of course I think everything he does is amazing! But I look at Kael's pictures of when he was younger and I miss that! I wouldn't change him back to that age but I still miss it! He is so on the go that it is hard sometimes to really cuddle very long. He gives me hugs (which he couldn't do as a new baby) so that is simply amazing but I still can't help but miss falling asleep on the couch together or holding him all day while he slept as a newborn. There are things that were hard as a newborn too though. waking up every three hours to feed you. feeding you for 20 to 30 mins (sometimes took an hour because you would fall asleep) I did like getting to see him every three hours though and he went back to sleep so easy. I just felt tired and exhausted. But we usually slept in until 10 so we would usually get good sleep. But still it was challenging. I don't miss the GERD. I am so glad we don't have to give him pills anymore or worry about him spitting up all the time and it burning his throat! That might be it. I don't know how I could be so happy but so sad at the same time. I hate thinking he will never be that small again, where he cannot run away from me.. :D But oh the joy of him learning and discovering new things. He gets into a lot of trouble and gets hurt a lot but he loves exploring and getting into everything. He loves to open all the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would put the child locks on but we are renting and I don't want them to charge us if we put holes in their cupboards. I wish I could at least put them on the bad ones. I watch him every second because of that. I never do not know what He is doing. He still manages to get hurt by pulling bowls onto his head, falling into furniture or by whacking himself with something he is holding. He gets bumps daily! I wish he didn't need to get them. I don't like to see him cry but he wants to touch everything. He also seems to find anything he can and put it in his mouth. It is funny though. Now I can tell when he is chewing on something he shouldn't be because he looks at me like "did she see me"! When I go after him to get it out of his mouth, he scurries and gets away. He is so weird! He loves paper! any kind of paper! toilet paper, napkins, wipes, reg paper. He like to eat it all. My silly boy!
Other things he likes:
bananas, Sesame Street esp. Elmo's world, music! (he loves all music.. when he hears music on the tv he hurries and makes his way to the tv to watch a dance.... I love his dancing! :D He has a favorite song that his stuffed bunny sings and when he hears it, he looks at me and smiles. He does that with other things he likes too (like when word world comes on the dog barks at the beginning and Kael always looks at me and smiles.. without fail!) He likes sweet potatoes, marshmallows, waffles, german pancakes, pb &j sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, mashed potatoes and gravy, yogurt, applesauce, almost all kinds of foods.. Well he will usually eat them anyway.. he likes water (to drink and play in.) He has finally learned to use his sippy cup a few weeks ago! The night he learned, he drank so much! It was so cute.. he loved it. He likes water more than his baby juices. I need to stop buying them and just let him have water. He loves to try to feed himself. We went to yogurtland and I was going to feed him from my bowl with my spoon but he was holding a spare spoon and just started digging in. He knew exactly what to do. It was so cute! We brought back a few spoons from there and he loves them. He just plays with them. KAEL LOVES TOYS! It is the cutest thing. He loves playing with toys and he definitely knows how to play with them. He drives around his cars and makes the vroom sound. I love it. He has learned to play with his other toys too. He learns what to do to make them go or make noise.. He gets excited. When he goes somewhere new and there are new toys, he loves it. He always goes into his cousin Grady's room and plays with his toys or opens his Grandma's toy box to pull stuff out. I have been bringing out his totes of toys to let him rummage through. Sometimes he just pulls every single toy out. Books. Kael loves books. he likes me to read to him but his favorite thing to do now is to open the book and turn the pages himself and read to me. I was reading a counting book to him and was pointing to each thing as I counted and then he took the book away and started poiting to the things and making a sound as he touched it. He is so smart! Kael loves to Walk. He is doing so good. Last week he started walking a few feet on his own and he also started to take off walking on his own instead of us holding his hands and then letting go. He would be standing against the couch and just turn around and start walking to something else. It is such an amazing thing to experience. He looks so excited while he does it and so proud. We all clap afterwards and he loves it! When he uses his Spiderman car to walk around he gets to frustrated when he runs into a wall and can't keep going forward. He screeches and cries. Kael likes baths. I give him one every night (might slack on weekends though) He loves splashing and getting me wet, he loves  chewing on his squirters or wash rag to try to drink the water.. Yesterday I was using a squirter thing to give Kael water and then all of a sudden when he had it, he put it up to my mouth to give me water too. It was so cute. Then he picked up a toy that had water in it that he was trying to drink. While he was drinking from the one toy, he was putting the other one to my mouth. Then I looked at the toy he was using to get a drink himself and acted thirsty and made a noise. He noticed and then used that toy to give me a drink. We communicated to each other without saying words. So cute! Kael loves to play outside! Whenever we get him out of the car or house he has the biggest smile. He just lights up. It is so funny when it is windy and he goes outside and looks towards the wind. He smiles and makes a funny face! I have been trying to go outside as much as possible but it has been a little chilly. Today we went out for about 25 mins. It is so cute to see the things that interest Kael. Everything does. He is learning something new from everything he sees! He loves the grass, the plants, trees even the weeds. He sees sticks and wants to pick them up and carry them everywhere with him. Kael also loves kids. He gets so excited to see kids. He starts walking to any and every kids he see with a huge smile on his face and a big shriek of happiness. He thinks every kid is his friend. Waving. Kael has learned to wave. I don't know how.. He is so smart. I didn't really get a chance to teach him hi and bye with waving because we usually stay home just us and we don't leave each other to say hi or bye. But he still learned it from the times he does say hi and bye. When he sees someone he starts waving his little hand. It is so cute. It is usually his right hand. When I say "hi" he starts waving he has picked it up. He understands. He is so amazing. Kisses. Kael has also learned kisses. Today we were talking to daddy on speaker phone and he saw daddy's picture and I told him to give daddy kisses and he opened his mouth (that is the way he kisses.) and put it against the phone right where his daddy's face was. So cute. He did it over and over. He loved talking to his daddy and all day kept coming to me if he saw me take out my phone because he wanted to see daddy. He kissed me a few times today too. :D Technology. He loves the stuff everything from calculators, gameboys and phones to computers. He knows what to do with them too. Today I was cleaning the office and Kael kept trying to read for the mouse and keyboard. He held the mouse and moved it around on the screen and pressed buttons on the keyboard. Such a smartie! :D Kaels loves hair. My hair, his hair, doll hair. He likes to play with it and sometimes he will stick it in his mouth. I have had to hide the girl dolls that I have for my dollhouse I made because he sticks their whole head of hair in his mouth. yum! Kael also loves pillows and blankets. He doesn't sleep with either but for some reason loves them. We never have let him sleep with a pillow because of sids and using blankets you also have to be cautious so since he has been sleeping in his own room (which was right before he turned 3 months old) he hasn't used a blanket. I recently have tried to see if a blanket would help him to fal asleep but i tuck him in it and when i see him asleep, he isn't anywhere near the blanket. But for play kael likes to cuddle in pillows and pull blankets on top of him. He also like to hide under his bed. For some reason he goes under there and hangs out and will pop his head out and smile as if to say "peek a boo.. here I am" So so cute!
There are so many things to be said about my precious Kael bug. He is my world! He is so amazing!
