Sitting up!

About 2 weeks ago (around the 15th) Kael started sitting up so well. It was all of a sudden he was pro at it. He has been doing so great! He also is reaching for things like toys,phones, ipods,remotes and food. Toys he likes: piano and things that make music or noise, books to read and to chew on. He loves phones because we talk to daddy on speaker and he loves hearing dad. He grabs the phone and sticks it in his mouth. Ammon found a baby piano app on the ipod and Kael really likes it. He touches it and it plays music. He likes the tv remote because he sees us using it and he figures it must be cool. Again he likes to chew on it. He also loves the camera. He is interested in the flash and likes watching the videos of himself. Today I was putting pictures of Kael into his scrapbook and I showed them to him and he would smile. So cute!

Kael has been so interested in food. He watches us ea. He is glued to the food from the plate to our mouth. it'll be fun to start giving him some different foods. Dr. Duffy said we should wait until 6 months before giving him solids. We had already given him rice cereal at 3 1/2 months but then decided to wait. I feel bad at times when he looks at us eating, longing for a bite. I am excited to try all kinds of foods but i am going to miss the sweet bonding time while nursing. Kael has also learned more sounds. He can easily say dada, mama,baba. it is very cute! He has been experimenting with his voice and now he knows how to spit. it is the funniest thing. His face gets so wet. When I spit a little, e does it back. so funny! He moves his tongue a lot when talking. He is such a pleasure. Such a happy sweet baby boy.
