This year we decided to join Jaime, Cole and the kids in Tooele for a parade and fair in the morning. I have always wanted to go to parades but they always seem so packed. This was not that way because it is a small town. We had chairs to sit in but we ended up standing up to get candy and other goodies they threw our way. Kael loved all the big vehicles, motorcycles and the horses. I think he enjoyed himself. He didn't grab much candy but we did give him a piece of taffy for each hand. He just held them in his hands forever but then I looked at him while on his daddy's shoulders, he was eating through the wrapper to get to the good stuff. So funny! All that stickiness right by Ammon's head and hair. We then headed to the fair. Cole's dad has some cars entered in the car show so we hung out there and went on the rides. Kael went on a big shark slide and a swing ride. Kael was getting really tired and it was time to leave. We had a nice long drive to my parents so Kael got to sleep. We hung out there with cousins and then later did our own fireworks. Kael enjoyed the fireworks but I was a little disappointed that he didn't get to see the big park fireworks. He LOVED those at the bees game! Kael fell asleep in my arms while I was trying to show him the neighbors big fireworks. Such a precious boy! Love him!
