Easter!

A week before Easter we went to my Mom's ward primary Easter egg hunt! They made bunny ears (that Kael only kept on because somehow he forgot they were on.) then they hunted for eggs. They said each child could get 7 eggs. Well.. When we got outside there was seriously not an egg in sight. All the eggs were grabbed up! The worst part was that all the older kids were sitting on the grass eating there candy while Kael had one egg in his basket (Ammon miraculously found it where no one would have found it. It was in the concrete brick wall in that opening) I just wanted Kael to see an egg on his own and get it. Then Grady had to give Kael an egg and my mom found one in a tree. So Kael ended up with 3 eggs. It is not like I really needed the candy or anything. They offered us some but that isn't what I needed. It just bothers me. I overheard kids saying they got some for another person who was not there and another say "did you find all your 10?" So some obviously didn't understand "7". Sorry to complain but my mom brought more than 7 eggs each for her grand kids so that is sad we only got three. His bucket looked sad. But then Later that day we Took Family pictures! I was so glad the weather was nice! It turned out great! I will post when I get the pictures! :D

On Monday the 18th, we went to Karlee and Jason's to eat and color Easter eggs. We got there at 5:30 and didn't leave until sometime around 10. We had burgers, salad and strawberry shortcake. It was yummy! Then we colored eggs. Karlee found this new way to do eggs. You get old ties and wrap the big end around the raw egg with the tie and another piece of material on it then twist tie it and then boil the eggs. They turned out cool! Everyone but me used a glove to color eggs. Ha ha nerds! I left without any die on my fingers! :D It was fun to hang out with them!

Easter Day started with Kael waking us up. We brought him into our bed with us still wanting to sleep. It didn't work. We had to get up. We brought Kael into the room with his Easter stuff and he just walked right past it and grabbed the tv remote. ? What the heck? We sat him next to his bucket and he pulled it over and found the Spiderman eggs. he got one open and started eating the goldfish. We filled the eggs with yogurt melts and goldfish. He has plenty of candy with the peeps we got him and the chocolate bunny. He LOVED the Chocolate bunny! So cute! He actually ate a lot of it! Mmm Chocolate for breakfast! He likes playing with the eggs too and he noticed when he shook them, they made a noise. Then We had church at one. Ammon and Kael just hang out in the halls the whole time. Kael makes it impossible for him to go to class. I don't know if I could take him to my primary class. He wouldn't sit still so the 3 year olds wouldn't  want to sit still either. I had a hard time this Sunday being in primary. I missed my family and I feel that if I were in class with Ammon, Kael would be easier and we could maybe try to stay in a class. I just feel like I am constantly saying "sit down", "turn around", "listen to the teacher", "don't pick your nose", "put your dress down", It makes it difficult to enjoy being there. I loved my class in my parents ward. I loved the 4 turning 5 year olds. My Easter lesson last year was so awesome. The children listened so well and participated and after class I heard them talking to their parents about how Jesus was resurrected. This year.... Not so much! Ammon gets to talk to all the other moms in the halls with kids Kael's age and I want that. Anyway... After church we went to my mom's for dinner and an egg hunt,

My mom got Kael a cart from IKEA, a kite, bubbles, an airplane and car and a toy snake that grows in the water. He loved the cart thing as you can see. It was fun to go egg hunting with it. This egg hunt was so much fun! I didn't care how many eggs he got I just wanted him to find some and pick them up. It was cute to see him. He didn't know what to do. After we got a bunch of eggs, he started throwing them out of his cart! ha ha! Love him. Kael had a good first Easter! :D
