KAEL is ONE!

I cannot believe my baby boy is now a toddler! He is one! HE is growing up way too fast! He learns something new everyday! Heck he learns many things every day! He has started to put the play phones, real phones and anything that looks like a phone up to this ear and talk. It is the cutest thing. He has started "dancing" by shuffling his feet around while I sing "dance dance dance". He goes to the kitchen when he wants to eat something. Some times he tries to get it himself (cereal and stuff.) He can open the doors in our apt. They are the pull down knobs, not twist knobs (he can only open the outside door because once you pull the handle it opens.. needs to be locked at all times.) He has been getting in his baby carseat that we had lying around. He is so cute. He gets in and turns around and just sits there and watches tv or just relaxes. He has started to spit out his food and has become picky. I am so worried. He was eating everything and usually loved most things he tried. Now I try to feed him things he used to love and he wont eat it. I don't know what to do. It is stressing me out! I don't want him to stop gaining weight I hope that it gets better.. There are many more things he has learned. He tried to kind of run. It is more of a fast paced walk but his hurrying is so cute when daddy is gonna get him. He learned to lift the toilet seat up! goodie! The other day Kael didn't want to crawl up the stairs so he held onto the railing and walked up (very slowly of course..) I love Kael so Much! He is my world! I Love taking care of him and am afraid for the day when he wont need me anymore!

His Birthday Party was so much fun!

We did a sesame street theme! Mostly cookie monster and elmo. I spent four hours the night before making and decorating 60 cupcakes and then making his cake. I waited until the next morning to decorate his cake to ensure that the frosting was very soft for him to dig into. we Had about 22 adults including Ammon and myself, and 15 kids and babies including Kael. So 37 people. It was fun to get everyone together. Kael had and hour long nap just before his party so he was in a good mood. He did however get upset while opening presents because all the kids were gathering close and he wanted to play outside. He loves outside. I didn't get to do what I wanted with the games I made but that is okay. I mad a pin the cookie on cookie and don't eat dorothy (don't eat pete) They probably would have played more if they couldn't go outside but all the kids were loving outside. We had hot dogs, potato salad, chips and lemonade. Then when Kael was digging into his cake, everyone else got a cupcake. I made spice (for adults) red velvet to appease adults and kids and marble also for kids. I wanted to do cream cheese frosting so I made cakes that would go with it. A few kids got upset while Kael was opening presents. I saw Kayden Bush get upset when Kael opened the present from him. Grady kept asking "is that one for me.." every time we were handed a present. After Kael's party we went with Josh, Jandi, Ashby and Roux to red robin. We got a free kids meal because it was Kael's bday!

On Kael's real bday we went to Jaime's ward to go to Kobe's blessing. We then ate some breakfast at her house and when It was just our side of the family we celebrated Kylie's bday and had cheesy potatoes and ham and cheesecake. Kael actually whined all day. He had a hard night before this and was up for a long time crying and we couldn't figure out why. He has weird poop Ammon says. We tried getting him back to sleep for over 2 hours and finally he fell asleep in our bed. He pulled my hair and smacked me all night. So we were all really tired on his actual birthday. We came home and set up the door that my mom and dad got him and he was so excited he couldn't wait for us to finish setting it up. Then we watched jumanji  and ate and played. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!
