2009

Wow I have not written about anything since Christmas. (I know people don't look at this but I just would like to keep it current for an online journal of events for myself I guess)

I had my 21st Birthday in January! Wow I am getting old. It was on Martin Luther King Jr. Day so I didn't have school! :D Ammon took me out to breakfast at IHop and then we went to see the movie Mall Cop It was the only thing we hadn't seen that was out. (yes we go to a lot of movies) Then we went shopping for a little bit and really just relaxed without the stress of school or work. Sydney had a party the Saturday before and it was really cute! She is 4 now.

We had a good Valentines day! We went to see Coraline in the theaters. It was very interesting. Then we prepared dinner together. We had Salmon and red potatoes with cheesecake for dessert that we made. It was so good! We made our own candlelight dinner and stuff.

We babysat Sydney and Grady one Saturday for about 4 hours. It was fun. Sydney is just so easy. She will do anything and have fun. We went to McDonalds because of course Grady was starving. We let them play in the play place for a while and then we came back to our place and put in Peter Pan. Grady was really tired and ended up falling asleep. So Ammon, Sydney and I decided to make some cookies. She really likes to help make stuff. She liked the cookie dough (don't worry I only gave her a little taste) but she didn't want any of the cookies. I think I liked the dough better too. Then Ammon fell asleep while Sydney and I were coloring so Sydney decided to make Ammon a picture of Spiderman. It was so freakin cute! then we crept over to Ammon and put it under his arm. He was very excited to see it. Soon Grady woke up and we brought the kids back to my Moms.

On memorial day, Ammon and I decided to do something with Sydney. I went to my moms and just said "Sydney come here, we are taking you." She didn't ask where we were going, she just got in the car with us. we decided to go to Wheeler Farm with Josh, Steph and Kayden. It was cool because you get to see all the animals on the farm and it doesn't cost anything(extra stuff does). Sydney liked the horses but not the big sheep that made funny noises. She was terrified by the geese. They followed us and made scary noises. I think Grady would have loved it. It was too muddy for him to walk around though and he would have wanted to walk around so maybe when it is drier.

Me and Ammon are still on the mission to get pregnant. It has been taking a long time. I thought that after my miscarriage I would get pregnant right away but it has been almost 5 months since my D&C. It turns out I had a really big cyst on my ovary that could have been preventing me from ovulating but also I guess I haven't been ovulating normally. So I took ovulation pills last month. That didn't seem to work so this month I am taking double the dosage. Trying to get pregnant is really tough work. It takes a toll on you after a while. Month after month of bad news. AHH! Who new it could be so hard. Ammon says he has a good feeling about it so I pray that he is right and that we do get to hear that good news soon.

I am starting into more field experience next week at Columbia Elementary in the 2nd grade. It is so close to home I am so excited. I will write of my experiences when I have them! :D
